Weight
Training Orientations
Members are offered free orientations on all weight and
cardiovascular equipment by certified fitness professionals.
All nonmembers under the age of 17 must complete an orientation in
order to use the fitness room. All members under the age of
18 must also complete an orientation in order to use the fitness
room. Orientations must be scheduled
24 hours in advance and can be set up at the front desk.
Body Composition
Testing
Our
fitness counselors can also measure body composition for a $5
fee. Testing must be scheduled 24 hours in advance and can be
set up at the front desk.
Personal Training
Personal training sessions are available for members seeking
individualized attention and personalized programs. Personal
trainers are certified through training guidelines established
by the YMCA of the USA and Cybex International. Individuals
with medical limitations must obtain a doctor’s release before
entrance into this program.
Program Fee:
$25.00 - one hour session
$120.00 – 6 one-hour sessions
Teen Yoga
This new class will focus
on functional strength and flexibility that can help to prevent
or correct muscular imbalances in the body. By increasing
elasticity, yoga helps to prevent injury so that teens can
participate in the sports and activities they enjoy longer and
with better coordination, focus & balance. Yoga will give
teens a mental edge when preparing for a big game or match as
balance poses help participants to focus and clear the mind.
